“Ayé ńlá (Big World)” is a prophetic sound birthed in worship — a reminder that though the world is vast like a mighty river, we are safe when we hold on tightly to Jesus. This song is a cry of surrender and a declaration of faith: no matter how deep the waters, Christ is our anchor, our guide, and our rescue. May this sound lift your spirit, strengthen your faith, and draw you closer to the One who never lets go.
Aye Nlá was written 11 years ago, and it has always been a song close to my heart. It speaks to how life can feel like a vast, overwhelming ocean and reminds us of our deep need for a Savior—the One who is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life” (John 14:6). The song also reminds us that we must hold on with both hands, and in fact, with our whole selves, trusting Him fully until we see His face. Over the years, Aye Nlá has been ministered live in my local church, and I’ve seen how God uses it to bring peace and stillness into the hearts of listeners. Every testimony reminds me that this is more than music—it is a gospel ministration, a message of hope, calm, and assurance that we are never alone in the storms of life, and that we can choose Him and hold onto Him with all He has given us (Psalm 46:1). This project of eight singles reflects my journey of waiting on God’s vision to speak in His perfect timing (Habakkuk 2:2–3), and Aye Nlá is the song that reminds me—and others—that holding on is always worth it.
